“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.”

The benefits of co-curricular activity have a huge impact on student life and pupils who participate in these activities develop higher academic results, better relationships at school, and are more likely to lead healthy lifestyles when they leave school.

Students also feel a greater sense of belonging and have a higher self esteem at school when they participate in structured sporting, performing arts and other activities. The co-curricular opportunities TSUS provides make for a more motivated and engaged group of students, which leads to a happier and more cohesive school.

We expect our students to be involved in co-curricular activities and offer a diverse range of opportunities with sporting, performance or other activities to choose from. Students who consistently participate and achieve in co-curricular activities are motivated when recognized in regular assemblies.

Our students are encouraged to take part in sports, with special emphasis on fitness, skill development and self discipline.

We look forward to seeing every student participate fully in the co-curricular life of the school.
